Something doesnt sound right here, it's been over a year that this problem is
known and nobody from AMD team commented on this, not even that they are
working on it. Now out of a sudden one of their engineers claims they solved it
but doesnt attach any kernel patch or info on the issue, just marks it as fix
released. Another thing that is weird is that we are almost sure its a BIOS
issue according to posts above, so this "fix" might be the same thing that ivrs
kernel options do.
As for the issue you can verify its existance by the buzzing sound that power
components do on the Acer's mainboard when ACPI doesnt work like it should. At
Windows 10 the buzzing sound if you take close attention exists where the power
management works correctly.
