Bug ID: 205577 Summary: ThinkPad X250 Cannot Reboot After Hibernation Product: ACPI Version: 2.5 Kernel Version: 5.3.11-1 Hardware: All OS: Linux Tree: Mainline Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P1 Component: Power-Other Assignee: acpi_power-ot...@kernel-bugs.osdl.org Reporter: gtx.sw...@gmail.com CC: ti...@suse.de Regression: No I can reboot from a freshly booted system, but after hibernation I cannot reboot the system. The X250 will enter & resume hibernation just fine. But a reboot will hang with black screen after successfully shutting down & attempting to reboot. A minute or so will pass then the Fn key will light up (as it does on a fresh boot) But computer hangs then gives up & shuts down. The hibernation icon will then be missing from Power/Session. This is entirely reproducible on my hardware with openSUSE Tumbleweed. It will also rarely display same behaviour on resuming from hibernation lid lift, but this is random & just need to power cycle. Please let me know of relevant logs. I do have a permanent error showing each successful boot before Plymouth. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching the assignee of the bug. _______________________________________________ acpi-bugzilla mailing list acpi-bugzilla@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/acpi-bugzilla
