Bug ID: 213947 Summary: I2C HID ACPI Driver Problem On AMD laptop Product: ACPI Version: 2.5 Kernel Version: 5.10 ~ 5.13.6 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Linux Tree: Mainline Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P1 Component: Other Assignee: acpi_ot...@kernel-bugs.osdl.org Reporter: mgian...@tee.gr Regression: No Created attachment 298167 --> https://bugzilla.kernel.org/attachment.cgi?id=298167&action=edit dmesg output I Have a HP Pavillion Gaming 15 EC2000NV with ryzen 5600h and gpu GTX 1650. With kernels greater than 5.10 i have the following problem... Whenever the laptop falls into sleep mode after waking up the usb ports do not work at all. If i compile and install a version without enabling the I2C_HID_ACPI at all, the machine seems to work perfect even after coming up from sleep mode, though i have no touchpad support . Please find attached the dmesg output. I use 2 different distributions with approximately same kernel versions : ARCH linux and OPENSUSE tumbleweed. Both behave the same -- You may reply to this email to add a comment.
