thx for your report. Thing is: this can be caused by all sort of changes
(ACPI/PM, PCI, graphics, ...) and likely is something that happens only on a
few machines (otherwise I likely would have seen more reports like this
already). Due to these factors it really would be good if you could try the
change that's causing the problem using "git bisect". 

Side note: Is your configuration supported by your laptop vendor? Then maybe
tell them, they might be interested to look into this.
