I have an older Lenovo ThinkPad E480 (i5-8250U) that I reactivated. Most of the
time it shows significantly higher temps than expected while
kworker/u32:1+USBC000:00 is working in the background (6.12, 6.13-rc). 

It is connected to a USB-C-dongle providing USB-C (power), USB-A and HDMI-out.
The dongle is sold as Digitus DA 70838-1. According to one spec sheet the
chipsets are L102 PS176 VL817.

Disabling ucsi_acpi seems to fix the background worker and temp issue.

Afair this wasn't an issue when the laptop was used a primary machine between
2018-2021.
