--- Comment #2 from Cristobal (cfca...@gmail.com) ---
Dear Artem,

Thank you for your previous assistance. I’m writing to provide
additional details about the ongoing ACPI-related issues I’m
experiencing with my Dell Inspiron 5570 running Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS.

Kernel Progression and Observed Issues:

6.8.0-71-generic: Attempted to create a custom DSDT to eliminate ACPI
errors, but it was unsuccessful; system instability persisted.

6.8.0-51-generic: Developed severe screen flickering (≈5-second
intervals), with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth stack functioning.

6.14.0-27-generic (current): System stable, but persistent ACPI errors remain.

Primary ACPI Error Patterns (journalctl -b -p 3):

Aug 13 22:50:41 kernel: x86/cpu: SGX disabled or unsupported
Aug 13 22:50:41-43 kernel: 7× ACPI Error: [____ptrval____] No pointer
back to namespace node (20240827/dsargs-301)
Aug 13 22:50:44 systemd[1]: acpi-reload.service: Failed with result 'exit-code'
Aug 13 22:50:50 systemd[1]: casper-md5check.service: Failed to execute
command: No such file or directory

Request for Guidance:

Would downgrading to the 5.15 LTS kernel potentially resolve these ACPI issues?

Are these errors indicative of firmware incompatibility (latest Dell
BIOS v1.14.0 currently)?

Thank you very much for your time and guidance.

Kind regards,
Cristóbal Cádiz+
