--- Comment #8 from Anton Bakken ([email protected]) ---
I am running Fedora with kernel 6.16.8-200.fc42.x86_64 and firmware NYCN71WW. I
am experiencing the same issue with no fan control after resume.

There are two other issues that might be worth noting:
- The keyboard back light control also does not functioning after resume from
suspend. - The power button LED is on solid on a fresh boot and will pulse when
in suspend, after resume from suspend the power button LED remains pulsing.

I've had all of these issues since installing with the 6.15 kernel and running
the NYCN68WW firmware.

I've found these two errors in dmesg and I wonder if they are relevant?

ACPI BIOS Error (bug): Could not resolve symbol [\_SB.PC00.LPCB.HEC.DPTF.FCHG],
AE_NOT_FOUND (20250404/psargs-332)

Does DPTF stand for Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework? Could FCHG stand
for something like Fan Control or Fan Curve?

ACPI Error: Aborting method \_SB.IETM.CHRG.PPSS due to previous error
(AE_NOT_FOUND) (20250404/psparse-529)

I assume CHRG stands for charge and could PPSS be something to do with Power or
Platform State?
