I would like to request that this model be added to the DMI quirk list for the ACPI EC fix. My system: - HP EliteBook 845 14 inch G9 Notebook PC (serial 5CG2211DP2) - AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 6850HS / Radeon 680M (Rembrandt) - Debian 13.6, kernels 6.12, 7.1.3, 7.1.8 - amd-pstate active and passive, niri and KDE Plasma Reproduction: 1. Run on battery only. 2. Close the lid (s2idle suspend). 3. Plug in the AC adapter while suspended. 4. Open the lid. Result: the CPU gets stuck at ~389 MHz (below the driver minimum), and the system becomes very slow. The only way to recover is to unplug the AC adapter, which restores normal frequency immediately. This appears to be the mirror case of bug 218557 (power cord plugged in during sleep, instead of unplugged). It would be very helpful if the HP EliteBook 845 G9 (and possibly the 835/855 G9) could be included in the fix. Thank you very much for your work.
