            Bug ID: 222069
Summary: ACPI GPE 6E interrupt storm from the EC0 (Embedded
Controller) - HP ZBook Studio 16 inch G10
           Product: ACPI
           Version: 2.5
          Hardware: All
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P3
         Component: EC
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
        Regression: No

Occasionally my HP ZBook Studio 16 inch G10 starts spinning fans on very high
speeds without any apparent reason. No huge computational applications running,
no LLMs generating images/videos, requiring GPU at full power. Oftentimes my
session has been locked, even.

I have narrowed it down to EC0 interrupt storm, which requires masking to
prevent high CPU usage/fan speeds. I lose the immediate power plug state
detection, haven't tested the lid functionality, yet, and the Fn / Media keys
still work.

The BIOS version is 01.13.01.

Please enlighten me about any additional information required to troubleshoot
this issue, I'm happy to deliver.
