Hi! I just fixed the USB enumeration problem(s) and I will know implement hot-plugging capability into gconfig. This will enable everything from PCMCIA to USB, PnP, PCI, whatever all devices will get managed in the same way. Also most GCONFIG-APIs are IRQ-able, which means one may search for a device during an IRQ. Also the hot-plug hooks will receive *any* device insertion/removal and the hook itself will need to filter by itself.
I thought about some way to handle those, because gconfig is also able to handle device-names from PnP or USB (which means devices will get names even when they are unknown to the system). I will first finish my USB enumeration and then do that stuff. Afterwards I will put gconfig (at last) onto CVS. cu, Kiewitz ----------- To unsubscribe yourself from this list, send the following message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] unsubscribe acpi-os2 end
