Yes you can get user inputs using JavaScript by using the prompt() method of window
object:
var sUserId = window.prompt("Enter your User ID: ","");
var sPassword = window.prompt("Enter your Password:", "");
The first parameter is the caption to show, while the second parameter is the default
value.
