Yes - you can use a one way hashing algorythm such as MD5, SHA etc... do a google on "MD5 ASP" or something similar and you should get plenty of results.

I am writing an 'classic' asp app. I would like to know if it's possible to store the passwords of each user in a user table in an encrypted form, so that the db admin person (i.e. me!!) can't impersonate users by viewing the Users table and simply using some elses username and password. Any thoughts on this friends? Mark Wills (UK) http://www.natalie-merchant-online.com --------------------------------- ALL-NEW Yahoo!
