We have an ASP applicatin that ties to an Oracle database with a database link tied to a PeopleSoft database. I need to find a way to check if the Peoplesoft DB is down (i.e. if the database link is valid) and display a friendly error message to the user before they have logged into the application.
Does anyone have a suggestion for how to go about this? Thanks, David Dodson Vicor ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> $9.95 domain names from Yahoo!.
