Hello Guys: I was wondering how you encrypt a password in a database, and how do you check that encrypted password using a login screen from ASP?
I have always stored passwords as plain text before: but my company wants that stored encrypted in a database. I couldn't find a function or anything on books online to encrypt a password, and how would I pass in a plain text value (entered from a web-page) into a SP that has a password encrypted?
