Queen lurker here... I did not ask this question but I have been wondering
this same thing for quite some time.
What I would like to achieve is to simply to read from the database on web2
and display the data on web1.
There is one situation though where being able to write to the database on
web2 from web1 would be nice, for something like "testimonials", if this
were possible.
