Try going (in internet explorer) tools->options-> advanced-> and UNcheck
"show friendly http errors" then call your page and tell us the error...

Look at the attached picture, it appeared when i call up http://localhost
and http://localhost/mywebs/file.asp
So, the result is ( the page can not be displayed ).
I think IIS is not working, and it requires some changes in it from control
panel > administrative tools
But i can not know these changes!
