In my particular application, the PUT data could be more than I care to store in memory at once. The problem is that I need to flush the data out to a file before the PUT is complete, not just reject the PUT if it gets too big.

Understood. So you have a specific need to control the TCP/IP stream which is not possible in the current incarnation of the 4D web server. In that case, what else can you do?


Am I correct in saying then that your decision to use something other than 4D's web server was independent of your decision to use Active4D?
