Howdy,
I have noticed that many people seem to be using "call 4d method" to call a 4D method. Just to clear this up, it is unnecessary to use "call 4d method". As the "Calling 4D Methods" section of the "Interpreter" chapter says, "you can call any 4D method within Active4D using the exact same syntax you would within 4D."
As for why "call 4d method" exists, I obviously should make it clear in the command reference that it is not necessary under normal circumstances. Its reason for existence is covered in the "Indirect Method Calls" section of the "Interpreter" chapter.
