Well, if you put it like that... Hot potato time.
Why a hot potato? The user _may_ modify it all they want. What I mean is that currently when you use 6.7+ you have to remember to yank out a bunch of 6.5-specific code from the shell. If I stop supporting 6.5 this won't be necessary.
