Yes, for the demo I am using the standard imported rewrite rules with no modifications (they will rewrite ".a4d". Of course I could make rewrite handle this, but it seems the 'demo' should work without modification, especially for new users.

When I added "default.a4d" to the end of the links, everything works fine.

Are you using Rewrite? If so, do your rules expect an Active 4D file, i.e. a match on *.a4d?
