But this begs a much larger question: what is your motivation in buffering the RowSet?
Basically, I'm loading information from an external data source and I would like to save page-load time and external data-source calls by buffering the information, once received.
Instead of saving the RowSet (which requires knowing the internal data structures, which may change in the future), you could store the arrays in a collection and then save the collection. Then you can recreate the RowSet from the arrays later.
