I don't know if this is a better place, but one way to handle this is to have a library method that you can call at the beginning of any page. Pass the method some criteria such as the calling page path , have it determine based on that criteria if there are any access controls for the page
If you follow this approach, you could either use On Execute Start or potentially On Request. In the case of On Execute Start you don't have to pass the calling page path, that is readily available through the 'requested url' or 'current path' commands. In the case of On Request, the requested url is passed to that handler.
Thanks for the clarification. To change the subject slightly, when using fusebox is there a central place for handling this?
I read the "Discovering Fusebox..." book back when fusebox was first discussed for Active4D and seem to recall some discussion of this? Admittedly that book's examples are in ColdFusion, so the Active4D Fusebox approach my leverage some of Active4D's features?
