after restarting the 4D-Server authentication is taking place now, but we are unsure if authentication abandon on day again...
If authentication works for a few days consistently I don't think you have to worry. No one has ever complained about authentication failing to work once it started working.
maybe someone can tell us what was going wrong there?
Authentication requires both the realms.ini entry and the On Authenticate method in Active4D.a4l. Perhaps your Active4D library on the production server was not the same as on your deployment server.
