My sites all use the 'get session' syntax, and I can't find the alternative in the documentation.
All collections (sessions, form variables, query params, globals) use that syntax, which is documented in the Interpreter/Collections section of the documentation (pg. 83).
Should I change each occurrence, or does it not matter too much?
It's up to you. Ultimately it doesn't matter.
Also, in the course of my using 4D and Active4D I sometimes encounter a technique which simplifies my coding and speeds pages up. It occurs to me that there may be lots of things which I am not doing in the optimal manner. Does anyone offer a consultancy/checking service?
