Hi,
I am thinking of making a change in the behavior of the interpreter,
but I want to get your opinions first.
If there is an expression like this:
"Time:" + current time
I already auto-convert the expression to the right of the + to text
if the expression to the left is text. However, you cannot do this:
$i + " items"
where $i is a number (or other non-text type). I am thinking that I
could just as easily auto-convert the expression to the left if the
expression to the right is text.
I just want to make sure that this is a behavior that is desired.
BTW, there are several new (and better) ways of formatting string
expressions in v4, but you'll have to wait till next week to find out
what they are. ;-)
