Of course! Should have thought it through - I think you said in one of your emails to read the reference and then read it again. I think read again and again is what I will have to do :-)
I take a very lawyerly approach to documentation, and try very hard to document very precisely what will and will not happen in all possible circumstances. It definitely requires careful reading.
PS The new functionality you've added to Rowsets (allowing Callbacks, executable code in the map) is really stunning.
I have to agree. I was stunned myself after adding that stuff. Part of my motivation was being able to use RowSets no matter how complex the query had to be, part was wanting to implement SQL-like query abilities to 4D.
