Finally bit the bullet and I'm trying out 4.

The plan is to
        look at fusebox

Clean up some thing you've been preaching (automatic form variable - unfortunately got tons of " if(defined($someformvar))"

Replace some early code with things learned along this two year experience

Before that, I just wanted to see what was broke. 4dcgi was the first thing that got me. My "on Request" message was putting a /4dcgi in front of the $inURL. Since you now strip it, I just had to remove it to finally get something other than a 404.

What I'm now stuck on is redirect. Don't use it a lot, but if someone's session has timed out and they try to access a controlled page I'd do something like

        session{"errMsg"} := "You've be logged out......"
        redirect("/myhome")

The error message would be displayed on the main page and hopefully they'd followed the instruction in the error message.

Both in Safari and FireFox I now get, what I assume is a Active4D fusebox error.

Your browser could not fulfill a redirect request. Please click here to go the intended destination.

Something broke, or what am I doing wrong now that used to work?
