I have solved the problem writing a procedure in 4D with just the query and then passing the local variables to that procedure.
You could also use the 'execute in 4d' command to generate the query command dynamically.
But I don´t understand where is the bug in the plugin API. Not possible to search 80 chars fields?
The structure that the plugin API uses for queries only allows 40 characters for alpha searches. Why? I have no idea.
I don´t know for what terms to search in the archives. I´ve not found anything.
The mail archive search is pretty limited, I did a google search for 'active4d query "40 characters"' and found the message in the mail archives directly.
