Hi,
I have gone over all of the various reports of freezes and server
deafness with v4. I am pretty sure it has something to do with the
housekeeper, as that is the code that changed the most from v3 to v4.
For those who are having the experience of the server not accepting
web or client connections after some time, would it be possible to
try an experiment? If you could please comment out the call to A4D
HOUSEKEEPER in the method A4D_HouseKeeper and restart the server, I
would like to see if the problems go away. If so, I know that's where
I should look.
Doing this means your sessions will not be purged, so depending on
how big your sessions are and how many you use, this may or may not
be feasible.
