perhaps

a4d.debug.dump collection($fusebox) // show the current state of the fusebox
a4d.debug.dump collection($attributes)          // show the attributes passed
return                                                                  // stop 
processing and show results

Kinda remember it had to go through the layout - just to used to "exit"

If you are up against a bug that prevents even the above code from working, there is always the new a4d.console library, which has analogous methods to a4d.debug but writes to the debug console.

I have to make a note to update the debugging documentation for fusebox.
