Just a quick question regarding record creation via Active4D. I
work with
FileMaker a lot and have the ability to create a record in a table by
sending a url to the database. For example :-
http://000.000.000.000
/FMPro?-db=master.fp6&-format=test.htm&job_name=test_job&-new
This url creates a record in the table called 'master.fp6' with the
field
'job_name' being populated with the text 'test_job'.
Is there anything similar to this for Active4D?
There is no automatic feature that will create a record via a url.
But the code to do so is pretty trivial.
I sure hope there are some security safeguards for that feature in
FileMaker. Otherwise it is a HUGE security hole.
