If it's a fusebox site and you have the "fusebox page" option set to "index.a4d", you need to either remove that or append " | srv.a4d".

That was exactly the problem (well, the reverse, anyway). Active 4D thought I was using fusebox when I wasn't and redirected the non- registered active page back to the configured 'fusebox page'.

I haven't been following all the fusebox developments and was just trying to get the sites upgraded from 3.0 to A4D 4.0. I wasn't aware of this feature.

I added the new lines to the Active4D.ini and must have copied the defaults from the demo - thereby making Active 4D think I was using fusebox when I wasn't.

Setting 'fusebox page =' makes everything work again perfecty.

Sorry for the distractions. I would very much like to get into fusebox and convert the whole site, but it vie's with the other 100 things I have to do and I'm not a web specialist. The site took a long time to build 2 years ago and includes a content management system for static content so it will take me a while to convert. The fusebox methodology looks very powerful and I understand why you promote it.

Many thanks for the help !

Regards

Peter
