This is just an informational post.
About once a month our 4D Client that is running as a web server with
Active4D, bogs down or freezes (RE: <http://www.mail-archive.com/
[email protected]/msg03529.html>)
I have a little dump routine that I use to see what is happening with
Active4d. Basically:
dump session stats
dump session
dump locals
dump collection(globals)
$html := '<div class="a4d-debug">'+Proc_dumpProcesses(-1)+"</div>"
write($html)
a4d.debug.dump license info
Proc_dumpProcesses is a little wrapper that call "Count Tasks" then
loops through the processes and displays the output of " PROCESS
PROPERTIES($vlProcess;$vtName;$vlState;$vlTime)" where the state is
not -100.
Today I noticed that there where a number of aborted processes that
did not seem to be getting reused. A partial display of output:

I just don't remember seeing that many aborted processes on the
client. The last process "/huh" is my dump routine. On the server,
only three processes are shown for the client.
The client has not froze since 7/7. Don't know if the above is
normal, I'll just have to monitor it for a while. I guess that 16 web
processes could of been the max connections I've had since 7/7 and
they just stay around forever. I know when it does freeze, there are
a bunch of processes listed for the client on the server.
Again, just informational.
