Those are very good suggestions. I will take them into
account while working on the report. Excel has a very
nice "Web Report" function which can parse an HTML
table and populate a spreadsheet, which is what gave
me the idea in the first place.

I've look for online samples, but didnt find anything
that led more than half of the way, which is
surprising because I would think this is a common
need.

I need to look at some of the cURL samples online, but
it's a lot of Perl code to grok at the moment.

Just to confirm, I should limit myself to just the
PCRE-based example code?
