I just noticed that the logging of Client Ips has stopped working
sometime
ago. When a customer logs in, I have an entry
([Web_Stats]Client_IP:=$attributes{"client_ip"}) that used to
record an IP
address. Lately, it is just recording the domain of the request as
'www.willsub.com' instead of the IP address.
I have checked the proxy rule
on Webstar V which passes the requests to 4D Server (Windows 2000)
and it
looks like the one Aparajita provided to forward this information
per the
rule Client IP-IP proxy rules.txt
You'll have to watch the TCP traffic between WebStar and 4D to see
what is being passed. I can assure you whatever is passed in
client_ip is what you'll get in Active4D.
