Our clients are having problems uploading files using a web http form
to our secure server. They receive immediately a 'the Page cannot be
displayed' message. Our clients use IE 6 from their PCs. The problem
is random (90% fail, 10% success). There is no problem with FireFox.
Recently we upgraded to A4D 4.0. We also recently renewed our web
SSL certificate. We do not believe that we had this problem with A4D
3.0 and / or the previous web SSL certificate.
The solution we have found, is to turn off SSL 3.0 in IE (Tools |
Internet Options | Advanced | Security). It also appears that there
is no problem with IE 7 either.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is there another solution
besides turning off SSL 3.0? Switching to FireFox is not an option
for them.
Our application runs in this environment:
Server: Windows 2003 Server
4D: 2004.6 Volume Runtime
Web Server: 4D Web Server
Active 4D: 4.0.2.31
