I have used FireFox/FireBug in the past but I am by no means an expert or have even used it to its full potential. I mentioned last week that Safari 3 had "Show Web Inspector" that seemed to have about the same functionality as firebug.

Mac OS X 10.4.11 released yesterday has the same version of Safari 3 as Leopard. I'm sure the Windows version will not be far behind (still shows beta).

If any of you FireBug experts happen to install 10.4.11 (or Safari 3 on window). I'd be interested in your reaction to the Web Inspector. You have to enable the Safari Debug menu. (% defaults write com.apple.Safari IncludeDebugMenu 1)
