This makes me think that the the exectution of
include ("/srts/includes/task_detail_master.inc")
is corrupting the case statement, but there are cases where that
include will run and no error occurs.
How many if statements in /srts/includes/task_detail_master.inc?
seems to be telling you your missing an end if.
That's it. The problem was that the missing end if wasn't in that file,
but in an include for that file.
