I support a commercial package that uses Active4D's OEM license, currently on Version 3, waiting for the v11 upgrade.
The 4D application was running on 2003.5r1 on Windows Server 2003 SBS SP2. We moved the application to a new box, and upgraded 4D to 2003.8r2, Windows Server 2003SP2. The Active4D timed-out after 1 hour for a few days while we were trying to find the culprit for the time-out. The Active4D Console on the 4D Server displays the "Unlimited" time-out and OEM license information. We found and stopped the old service instance of the application. We rebooted the entire LAN. We searched for Active4D.ProductName.key and found only 1 in the Win4DX folder. Because of the time-outs we had to move the application back to the original box for now. What are the possible/probably causes for the time-out?
