HI, So I seem to be having an out of the ordinary experience so I have been trying to sort it out on my own but without luck.
When my application executes the command A4d Init during startup it crashes. I have traced the entire A4D_Startup method and it's while in A4D_Init and it calls A4D Init that it crashes. I have downloaded Hot Fix 6 and am using Internet Commands from that DMG as well. I am using 5.0B2 of A4D. I have replaced my Active4D folder with the latest A4D folder (unmodified). I have just downloaded the latest copy of the Shell as of 10/4/09. In installing the shell I actually deleted the existing folders from my application and then copied them from the shell. I do have one question about the hot fix versions. While I am sure I am running the application copied from that DMG I don't see any reference to the hotfix when getting info about the application. Should I see this and if so where? I am not sure what I am missing or what might be causing this behavior. I can only assume it's something in my app. but I am not sure where to be looking at this point. Any ideas?
