Regarding #3, I understand that this is a 4D issue and this is an Active4D
list. But I'm hoping for some feedback regarding the 4D upgrade as well as

Just as with 4D, you may have a few character set issues to deal with
because of the move to Unicode. Otherwise people have said the upgrade is
fairly painless. If you download v5 and take a look at the addendum, all of
the possible issues are outlined there.

Yes, it has been rock solid so far. There are probably a few edge cases
lurking out there, but when they occur I have been able to fix them within a
day or so.

Active4D has nothing to do with this, it is strictly a web server issue. If
4D's web server can't do it, you could always put apache/nginx/etc in front
of 4D.
