Aparajita, I read that doc, but steadfastly refused to allowed myself to think that the web root was outside the web root. I did consider testing the safe docs path reference, but said, no way.... Perhaps I'll be a little more lenient thinking outside the box next time. :-)

The web root itself is outside the web root -- it's in its parent directory.
