Thanks Dave.

Doing it with CSS is definitely the better way and I follow that route. I
use tooltips already all over place in my site, so for that part I won't use
them. But the full text can always be seen in the product detail view.

Congrats on your website. I agree with Aparajita, that it is a nice
reference for A4D. Frankly until now I thought the bycycle webstore in
Aparajitas screencast would be pure fiction.;-)
