Hello Thank you Aparajita for the research. And yes, IE-Browser cost a lot of time of my life too. I'm working on mac, but have 3 different Windows running with parallels desktop, and then test all my work on IE7, IE8, IE9. Test and work around… I'm started to work with svg, and had to recognize that this is a problem on IE. I use webfonts, and had to recognize that the very expensive webfonts are rendered very bad on IE . The german ü is about 1 or 2 pixel away from the baseline… And now on IE 7 and IE 8 there started this cache problem, and I'm not sure if the problem comes from the no-cache setting. Best would be, to ignore IE 7 an IE 8. But there are 42% IE Users on our news-paper online-platform. These 42% are made up as follows: IE 6 0.2% IE 7 6.3% IE 8 37.9 % IE 9 52.7% IE 10 2.7% I can't ignore this :-(
