Yes I use port forwarding.

Have you seen the post where I get it working under some circumstances where I 
wrote

I have now tried to give a4D a index.a4d on different places, to look what 
happens.
If I put index.a4d in the Project-Folder "Essen", than the index will be 
served. So from the virtual hosts file a4D takes the root folder but not the 
default file.

Entry in virtual host
`IP Address             Hostname[:port]                 Language
