It has been a long time, but trying to help someone out.

Is it possible to use Batch with persistent rowsets?

We can't seem to find a combination that works. Then again, it may not be a
good idea.

There is a large rowset (1000+) that may be searched many times to reduce the
selection.

Their thought was to use a persistent rowset. If you batch the initial rowset,
lets say with a size of 20, it works on the initial load. When you check for
the persistent rowset and set a new batch on the rowset, there are only 20 rows.

I've tried to hack the rowset (with -1 for inSubset) by setting _start, _end
from a new batch and it displays the batch links fine, but starts at the first
record.

I've tried gotoRow, move and nothing seems to work.

I think they'd be better of using sets or caching, but though I'd ask if it was
possible.

PS this is an old version (4.5)
