Thomas Pfeiffer <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #1 from Thomas Pfeiffer <[email protected]> --- For me this is quite simple: It only makes sense to show the keyboard as long as its input is being used, i.e. - in our case - as long as a widget that takes keyboard input has focus. When I select a wallpaper, the activity name input field loses focus. Any keyboard input I make afterwards goes straight into space. So the virtual keyboard lost its purpose and should disappear. Just hiding the keyboard when no input widget has focus should solve many of the cases where the keyboard covers important elements without having any use. So is there any reason for not implementing this behavior? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug. _______________________________________________ Active mailing list [email protected] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/active
