I have PA on my Nexus 7 (using [1] tarball) and I updated yesterday from
devel repositories and everything seems to be okay. But I'm always
scared (I don't know whether it will work after restart or not) when
doing updates. Do you use MultiBoot or you have only PA on your Nexus 7?
Because I would like to figure out how to install the latest tarball as
a second system to my Nexus 7. It worked with some old image but I'm not
able to make it work with [1] for example.

Background:
The KMail Active GSoC project currently faces a problem: Our
prototype needs
some improvements in the Plasma Components that are not yet
available in the
4.10 version. Therefore Mike has created some patched 4.10
packages in order
to make it work on the PA Devel images. However, there seem to be some
incompatibilities which render the prototype (along with most of
PA) pretty
much useless (I get the error "This object could not be created
for the
following reason: Could not create a declarativeappletscript
ScriptEngine for
the Active Mail Prototype Widget" and the same for other Plasmoids
as well).
With 4.11, we wouldn't face that problem. Now the question is
whether it's
worth the effort for Mike to fix his patched packages or whether
we should just
wait for 4.11 to hit the Devel repos.
