due to continuous improvements to the UI i’ve ended up redoing many of these
sections multiple times which has delayed its availability. this draft is
still not complete as it is missing parts related to areas that were revamped
recently.
i am continuing to work on it, however, and i wanted to share it with you even
at this point since there is already a fair amount of content in it. not only
will many of you (hopefully ;) find it useful, but i would appreciate any
feedback you can offer.
am i being too detailed?
not detailed enough?
is the language clear enough?
too many screenshots?
not enough screenshots?
the wrong kind of screenshots?
are the foundational concept clearly explained in the first chapter?
if not, which concepts could use more explaining?
caveats with this draft:
* obviously not 100% completed
* i have not done a full proof-reading. there will be mistakes in the text.
* it is a PDF because i’m drafting it in Libre Office since that allows me to
be
actually productive as compared to a wiki or similar web editing system. i am
very open to migrating the content to a web presence once completed, however.
ok .. have at it, and let the feedback commence!
