Title: RE: [ActiveDir] Windows 2000 Professional Client (Native/Mixed mode)

No, clients accessing the network see no difference between native and mixed mode.  The Windows 2000 Server Resource Kit discusses Native and Mixed mode extensively.

Subject:        [ActiveDir] Windows 2000 Professional Client (Native/Mixed mode)

Dear List,

Can anyone briefly summarize or perhaps recommend a white paper, that
outlines the differences in functionality between a Win2000 Professional
client that connects to a Native mode or a Mixed mode Win2000 network ?!

What I am trying to understand is if the client will have to be modified or
"upgraded" when a network moves from a Mixed to Native mode to take
advantage of the increased functionality in a Native mode network ?

Many thanks,

Mark
